In a recent report I read a so-called “goo-roo” recommends golf courses spend $2,000 to get more Facebook “Fans”
I almost spilled my coffee all over my lap and fell out of my chair when I read this!!!
Sure, if you have $100,000+ budget for marketing you might put building your Facebook “Fans” on the very bottom of your list of marketing initiatives.
If you’re like 99% of golf courses your marketing budget is less than $50,000 (and probably much less).
Here’s why I’m ranting about this poor advice:
- Facebook has dramatically reduced your organic reach
This means you can’t just post content to your Facebook page and reach large numbers of golfers… In many cases you’re lucky to reach 6% organically. (Why would you pay for “Fans” then pay to reach “Fans”?)
- Wouldn’t you rather pay to reach golfers ready to buy?
And then get more “Fans” as a residual effect of your marketing – collecting more emails and making more sales first and foremost … and then adding Facebook “Fans” as a secondary benefit.
Now here’s the good news:
I’d like to show you how bad this advice is by making you an unbeatable proposition.
Don’t invest that $2,000 on Facebook Fans—you’re wasting your money. Don’t invest that $2,000 with me. In fact, don’t spend a dime.
So far 100% of golf courses have said “YES!” that have heard this remarkable plan. It’s a WIN-WIN.
It is in no way a sales pitch. At the very least you’ll get some eye-opening ideas you can use at your course…. But something tells me you will be like every other savvy golf course owner/operator who has heard this blueprint for greater success in 2015.

If you’re wondering how the plan works, it’s a profit share model. That means you don’t waste your money on the fluff (Facebook Fans) … you only compensate me IF I earn you a return. And I’m giving you the blueprint absolutely free.
Sound fair enough?
